  • No gum chewing or eating in the dance room.

  • Required dancewear and dance shoes must be worn to all classes (see dress code for details).

  • Lyrical dancers must also be enrolled in a ballet class.

Attendance

  • Students are expected to attend each lesson. Regular attendance is necessary for class progression and recital readiness.

  • Please inform the studio of planned absences.

  • If a lesson is missed for any reason, a student has the option to make it up by attending another comparable class. Tuition will not be refunded for absences.

  • If a student is absent for 8 weeks out of a 12-week period, they will have to either schedule make-up lessons at an additional cost or be asked to join a lower level.

  •  During choreography season, if a student misses 6 classes in a row, they will be taken out of that part of the dance.

  • A perfect attendance award will be given to dancers who don't miss any classes at the end of the year. One makeup class is allowed to still receive this award..

Snow Days

A snow day from school does not always mean a snow day from dance. If we are having a snow day, a cancellation notice will be posted on Facebook, Instagram, and emailed. Students can make up snow day lessons by attending a comparable class the following week. Tuition will not be refunded for snow days. If snow days occur on the same day of the week, 3 weeks in a row, a makeup class will be held on a Saturday or Sunday.

Withdral

If a student withdraws from the program, an official email must be sent to: stafforddancecenterllc@gmail.com. Tuition will stop being charged the following month. If a student withdraws after December 20th, the family will not get a refund for the costumes. Arrangements can be made to pick them up. If a student withdraws after April 1st. The recital participation fee will not be refunded.

Behavior

We expect all students to behave appropriately in class, show respect for their teacher, and show respect for classmates at all times. Any student who does not model this behavior may be asked to leave the class or sit out. This policy is in place to ensure that every student can participate in a positive and motivated environment. Each day begins with an opportunity for every student to engage in a constructive manner. If behavior problems persist, the student may be dismissed from all future classes.  Please note that no refunds will be issued in the event of dismissal. Tuition will cease to be charged starting the following month.
