Our Story

This is the second year of Stafford’s Dance Center, but the 78th year of dance instruction in Stafford. Marjorie Serafin started this dance studio in 1948 under the original name, The Marjorie Serafin School of Dance. In 2001, the studio became known as Stafford Academy of Dance under the ownership of Heidi Klecak. Mrs Serafin continued to teach classes until her retirement in 2014. Miss Paula is the 3rd generation to run a dance studio at this location. She had the privilege to be a student of both Heidi Klecak & Mrs Serafin. Stafford Dance Center carries on many of the traditions established over the years by the previous owners.
